Bucharest is featured among the world’s top 30 most attractive cities for the opening of business centres, claiming the 29th position, according to a report of the CB Richard Ellis (CBRE) real-estate consultancy company, quoted by Mediafax. Out of the total number of companies included in the study (280), 110 have offices in Bucharest, that is, 39.3 pc. Thus, Bucharest ranks 16th out of the 17 emerging markets. In Central and Eastern Europe, Romania lags behind all the capitals, while Warsaw hosts 53.6 pc of the companies, which entitles it to the 12th place. Budapest came in 20th, with 45.7 pc of companies, and Prague claims 21st place, having drawn 45 pc of the companies. The most attractive cities for the opening of business centres among the emerging markets are Shanghai and Moscow, with 172 companies (61.4 pc) and, respectively, 170 (60.7 pc).
