Car set ablaze in Bucharest over unpaid debt

The main vocalist of Romanian pop band Bere Gratis, Mihai Georgescu had his car set ablaze Monday morning, on a street of District 1, Bucharest. A man who pretends he is the arsonist turned himself to Police the same day, live on Realitatea TV. He said he resorted to this extreme measure because Mihai Georgescu owed him some RON 2,000 since 2008, when he fixed the electric circuitry of the vehicle. According to investigators, it was not Georgescu who owed money to the arsonist, but the owner of the house where the musician is living.
