First Prosecutor of Sighisoara Prosecutor’s Office, sued

Virgil Horatiu Aldea, First Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office in Sighisoara was sued by the National Anti-Corruption Agency (DNA), being accused of illegally obtaining RON 60,000 from the Agency for Agricultural Payments and Interventions (APIA) for an agricultural plot of land he had leased to other persons. DNA prosecutors accuse Virgil Aldea of “using or presenting false, inexact or incomplete documents in order to unjustly obtain funds from the European Communities’ budget or from budgets administered by them or on their behalf.”
