A man was killed and seven others ended up in hospital following a serious car accident which occurred on Sunday evening in Bacau County. A driver lost control of his car and crashed straight into a vehicle coming from the opposite direction. The man was on his way back to Bucharest, after visiting a monastery in Bacau, when his car went out of gear and he was no longer able to control it. He ended up on the opposing lane and crashed straight into another vehicle. Three cars were involved in the accident and seven people ended up in hospital, with severe injuries. The driver who caused the accident died on the operating table.
