This year’s edition of the Callatis Festival will take place, for the first time ever, abroad, in Rome, between August 9 and 15, and will include several manifestations, such as the Symposium of Romanians across the World, the Salon of Romanian Artists across the World, Miss Diaspora, as well as a concert series.
According to a release, quoted by Mediafax, the 2011 edition has as its title “Grazzie Roma. Callatis ti saluta!” This year, the Callatis Festival – the Festival of Romanians across the World takes place on foreign soil at the proposal of the Romanians in Italy Association, given that Italy hosts the largest Romanian community in the Diaspora.
