Europa League: Dinamo hopes to defeat NK Varazdin

Dinamo Bucharest head coach Liviu Ciobotariu stated on Wednesday that his team has the strength to overcome the first leg result against Croatia’s NK Varazdin. The game counts for Europa League’s third preliminary round. The game is scheduled on Thursday at 6 PM. The two teams finished their first leg game in Bucharest in a tie, score 2-2.

“We aren’t nervous. It’s true the first leg result does not favor us but we have good morale after our victory against Medias. I know we have a difficult game ahead of us. We want to qualify and we need a win to do that. We are prepared and I’m confident the boys will do everything in their power to qualify. I believe Dinamo has the strength to overcome the first leg result. Apart from Bakaj who is suspended and Grigore who is injured, Alexe is also in doubt. However our extended line-up has players that can replace them. We have to remain down to earth; we played well against Medias and we want to have continuity in results,” Ciobotariu stated before leaving for Croatia.
