The feature film “Morgen”, by Marian Crisan, is Romania’s proposal for the “Best Foreign Language Film” in the 2012 Oscars gala, representatives of the National Cinematography Centre (CNC), quoted by Mediafax, stated yesterday. 16 productions were eligible for nomination as Romania’s proposal for the Oscar, provided they had run for seven consecutive days in cinemas, between October 1, 2010, and September 30, 2011. These included Cristi Puiu’s “Aurora”, Calin Netzer’s “Medal of Honour” and Bogdan Apetri’s “Outbound”, according to the aforementioned source.
