The third edition of the Gaudeamus Mamaia Book Fair will take place between August 11 and 15, in an exhibition pavilion set up on the seafront, outside the Radio Vacanta studio, HotNews.ro reports. The Gaudeamus Mamaia Fair is the last stop made, this year, by the Gaudeamus Caravan, a series of cultural and educational exhibitions organized in Romanian cities which boast a university and cultural tradition (Craiova, Cluj-Napoca, Timisoara, Constanta-Mamaia). 30 of the most prestigious publishing houses in Romania will take part in Gaudeamus Mamaia 2011, presenting their latest issues before the local public, as well as before the tourists. The fair is open to visitors Thursday, August 11, to Monday, August 15, 4pm to 11pm. The public’s entrance is free.
