Tunisia’s new ambassador in Bucharest

State Secretary Doru Costea yesterday received Mahbouba Chebbi, who presented his credentials as the new extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of the Republic of Tunisia to Bucharest. According to the Foreign Ministry (MAE) release, Costea congratulated Ambassador Chebbi for his appointment, wished him success in fulfilling his term and assured him of the MAE’s full support in carrying out his activity in Romania. He also conveyed to the Tunisian people the message of appreciation and sympathy for its heroic attitude, which triggered deep democratic transformations in the Arab world. The Tunisian ambassador thanked Romania’s Government for the support offered to his country in this transition period through the concrete proposals made by Romanian Foreign Minister Teodor Baconschi during his visit to Tunis last June.
