Deputy Marian Boabes back to PSD

Olt Deputy Marin Boabes rejoined the Social Democratic Party (PSD), a grouping on whose ticket he ran in the 2008 legislative elections,  after a nearly two year stint with the Democratic Liberal Party (PDL). Boabes parted ways with the PSD in Oct. 2009, remained independent until Feb. 2010, then joined the PDL of which he has been a member until now. “I went back since, in the first place, I have a duty to the PSD. I was a Social-Democrat deputy and I find it normal to continue alongside Social-Democrats. No matter what will happen on the political scene, I will remain a Social-Democrat loyal to leftist principles,” the Olt deputy said.
