Finance Ministry sells 10-year bonds worth RON 226.5 M

The Ministry of Public Finance (MFP) yesterday attracted RON 226.5 M through the sale of 10-year bonds, under the planned value, and accepted to pay an average yield of 7.59 pc, the highest for this type of bonds in the last six years, Mediafax announces. Banks subscribed bonds up to a total amount of RON 566.5 M, slightly under the indicative value of RON 400 M. The maximum accepted yield was 7.65 pc. A higher value was accepted at an auction held in June 2005, when the Ministry accepted a yield of 7.85 pc.
