Mirel Axinte, recently appointed as personal advisor to the minister of Labour, Family and Social Protection, Sebastian Lazaroiu, recollects in a series of comments to an article posted on Blogary.ro a suicide he witnessed in the Predeal railway station. According to Hotnews.ro, Axinte uses very strong words against the man who committed suicide: “If you want to kill yourself, you mother f***er, go and do it somewhere else, not in a public place. (…) Saving such people is irrelevant. For those who take their life, I would call the (urban cleaning company) Rebu, rather than the (forensic institute) IML. Asked by HotNews.ro if he does not find the wording too strong, Mirel Axinte said: “Indeed, the respective comments are too tough, regardless of who made them. But people have different reactions in such tense moments, which might surprise even their author.”
