The footballer Gabriel Andrei Torje has signed a five-year contract with Udinese Calcio, after being sold by the Rumanian club FC Dinamo Bucuresti, the official website of the Italian club yesterday informed.
Born in Timisoara on November 22, 1989, called the “Messi of Romania”, Torje is 167 cm tall and weighs 64 kilos. He is a natural right-foot kicker and he has made 108 appearances out of the last 4 seasons, having scored 18 goals in Dinamo Bucarest, where he had come in 2007/2008 from Politechinca Timisoara. He made 10 appearances in the Rumanian National Team, having scored 1 goal in the “A” National Team and 9 in the U21 National Team (24 appearances). Until now Torje only played in Romania, for Poli Timisoara (2005-2008) and Dinamo Bcharest (2008-2011).
He had 10 appearances and 1 goal for the National team and 24 appearances 9 goals for the U21 Selection.
