Moldovan PM wants Romanian as official language

Moldovan PM Vlad Filat said that if his country’s Constitution is changed, he wants the changes to include the introduction of Romanian as an official language, according to Pro TV Chisinau. He made the statements during a celebration of Romanian language day in Chisinau. Previously, former interim president Mihai Ghimpu also declared himself in favour of changing the Constitution so as to introduce Romanian as official language.
