Sorina Tone dismissed as adviser to State Secretary Eusebiu Pistru

Sorina Petronela Tone was dismissed yesterday from the post of personal adviser to Transport State Secretary Eusebiu Pistru, at the latter’s request, Mediafax quoted a Transport Ministry release as stating. Transport Minister Anca Boagiu called on Eusebiu Pistru to sack Sorina Petronela Tone, about whom the press wrote last week that had her driver’s license suspended after being caught while driving at 156 km/hour on a road section in Iasi County where the speed limit was 100 km/hour. Tone accused the police of tailing her in order to measure the car’s speed by radar. The policeman provoked me, actually. It was nothing but a provocation. The policeman told me his boss told him to take my driver’s license,” the former adviser said.
