The Central Political Bureau of PDL yesterday decided to propose to the Parliament in the next interval the restructuring of the Government by adding a Ministry of European Funds. PDL spokesman Sever Voinescu said first of all the Parliament would need to give its vote, and than the Government would be able to establish the competence of the Ministry of European Funds by decision. Voinescu says no other ministries’ competence will be taken over and the new ministry will act as a co-ordinator of ‘the activity of structures that, at various levels, are involved in the management of EU funds, from management authorities to agencies.’
