The online platform on which Labour Minister Sebastian Lazaroiu launched his “Snow White” idea obtained legal personality status yesterday. According to its statute, the association’s purpose is to promote and support the principles and actions of neoconservative right-wing, but it will also edit books, periodicals and other informative materials and will even organize marches, public events and other activities meant to have an impact on public opinion. Here are the founding members of the Blogary Association: Sebastian Lazaroiu, Mirel Axinte, who is the Labour Minister’s adviser, Mihail Neamtu, Bogdan Ciuhu, Razvan Cucui, Florin Cojocaru and Adrian Miron. Vladimir Tismaneanu and Ioan Stanomir are among the contributors on blogary.ro. The announcement came against the backdrop in which there is insistent talk about the creation of a centre-right movement centred on PDL, a movement most likely dubbed the “Popular Movement,” the latter being a movement for which Ioana Basescu has filed a request to have it registered within the State Office for Inventions and Trademarks (OSIM). On Sunday a PDL leader talked about the relation between the Head of State and the new movement, PDL Dolj President Radu Berceanu pointing out that Ioana Basescu would not have done that without the President’s agreement.
