Sorana Cirstea in quarterfinals in Tashkent

Romanian tennis player Sorana Cirstea qualified on Wednesday for the quarterfinals of the WTA tournament in Tashkent, a tournament with total prizes of USD 220,000. Cirstea defeated Serbia’s Aleksandra Krunici in a game that lasted 71 minutes, score 6-3, 6-4. In the quarterfinals Cirstea will play against the winner of the game that pits Russia’s Alla Kudryavtseva (top seed 6) against fellow national Vitalia Diacenko. For this result Cirstea will receive 70 WTA points and a check for EUR 5,340.
