EPP leaders to discuss crisis effects in Bucharest

The leadership of the European People’s Party (EPP) will meet in Bucharest on September 22-24 to discuss the effects of the economic crisis, a press release carried by Mediafax reads. The meeting will be attended by European Parliament President Jerzy Buzek, EPP leader Wilfried Martens, President Traian Basescu, Prime Minister Emil Boc and others. The EPP will organize in Bucharest the tenth edition of the European Ideas’ Network think-tank, which will cover topics such as priorities resulting from the economic crisis, a possible way towards economic unity and the importance of the Black Sea region, the release says.
