Dan Diaconescu has a party

The Bucharest Court of Appeals accepted on Monday the OTV owner’s request to set up the Dan Diaconescu – People’s Party (PP-DD). The Bucharest Court of Appeals thus accepted Dan Diaconescu’s appeal against the Bucharest Court’s June 7 decision to reject the request to set up this party. Dozens of fans waited for the decision outside the Court of Appeals. The request to set up PP-DD was made on April 12 after the Bucharest Court of Appeals rejected, at the start of that same month, Dan Diaconescu’s request to set up the People’s Party. Back in April, Dan Diaconescu’s lawyers claimed that approximately 50,000 signatures were collected from Bucharest and from around the country in favor of his bid to set up the PP-DD party.
