PDL rejects mixed uninominal system

PDL Spokesperson Sever Voinescu stated on Monday that PDL does not accept the party lists voting system, adding that the ruling coalition has reached a consensus on the uninominal vote principle and there are discussions on the compensation system. Voinescu added yesterday, after the Permanent National Bureau meeting that the country’s administrative-territorial reorganization remains a top priority for PDL and the party will do everything humanly possible so that a consensus on this issue will be reached within the ruling coalition.
