Ruling coalition loses another MP

PDL MP Mihail Boldea resigned on Monday, claiming that democracy no longer exists in the Galati branch he was a member of. He pointed out that he will remain an independent MP for a while but he will take into account the possibility of joining another party. Mihail Boldea had several conflicts with the party’s local branch but he also made several statements against the party’s central leadership, being displeased with the manner in which the party is led. Mircea Toader, leader of Democrat-Liberal MPs within the Lower Chamber, stated yesterday that Boldea did not announce his resignation.
