Covent Garden’s “Faust” starring Angela Gheorghiu to be broadcast live at Bucharest Opera

The production of “Faust” featuring Romanian soprano Angela Gheorghiu will be broadcast live, high-definition, via satellite from the Covent Garden in London on September 28, starting 9pm, at the Bucharest National Opera, according to a release quoted by Mediafax. The soprano Angela Gheorghiu takes on Marguerite’s part. The performance will be held under the baton of conductor Evelino Pido. The show will be broadcast live via satellite not only in Bucharest, but also in Timisoara, in the “Eugen Todoran” Central University Library’s Grand Hall. The price of a ticket is RON 45.
