Transport Minister Anca Boagiu and the Belgian state secretary for Mobility Etienne Schouppe signed yesterday a memorandum for collaboration in transports, including among other objects the modernization of the Bucharest Northern Railway Station.
The agreement was signed in the presence of prime-minister Emil Boc and his Belgian counterpart, Yves Leterme, Mediafax reports.
The memorandum sets the protocol for collaboration in the infrastructure sector for the modernization, rehabilitation and development of the transport infrastructure in the Bucharest area, including the Northern Railway Station.
In another development, Belgian PM Leterme informed PM Boc that Belgium’s postal operator bpost is interested in acquiring Posta Romana shares.
