Economy to be affected in 2012, PM Boc says

Romanian economy will be affected in 2012 and will not grow as expected, Premier Emil Boc admitted, pointing out that Romania will be influenced by international market turbulences, realitatea.net informs. “Romania maintains its policy on the 16 per cent flat tax that represents a veritable investment stimulus,” the Prime Minister said. The Head of Government nevertheless offered assurances that Romania will attain its goals this year: an economic growth of 1.5 per cent and a budget deficit of 4.4 per cent.
