Romania, again winner of the European Border Breaker Awards

A Romanian artist won the European Border Breaker Award for the second consecutive year bestmusic.ro writes. In 2012, Romania’s Alexandra Stan will be among the ten artists awarded at the EBBA, after Romania’s Inna won the trophy in 2011. The EBBA awards go to debutant artists that register the largest sales in the European Union, irrespective of their country of origin. The EBBA ceremony will take place on January 11 at the Eurosonic Noorderslag in Groningen, Netherlands. Alexandra Stan became the first Romanian to enter the Top 20 Shazam Tag Chart, being the third Romanian artist that entered the Hot Dance Airplay Billboard, after Inna and Edward Maya.
