Tennis: Radwanska wins second title in a row

Agnieszka Radwanska won her second successive title after downing Andrea Petkovic 7-5 0-6 6-4 in the WTA Beijing final, according to Eurosport. The two players were not just fighting for the title in China but for points to try and reach the WTA Championships in Istanbul at the end of the season. Radwanska now has the edge by moving to eighth in the standings with Petkovic in ninth, and it is unlikely that there will be space for both of them in Turkey. “This is my biggest title of my career,” said Radwanska. “It’s always hard to come back, especially when you lose the set 6-0. She was just killing the ball and she killed me in the second set. It was very, very tough.”
