The Renault group brought to Romania the 850 HP Dacia Duster No Limit, the most powerful vehicle ever branded Dacia, which is also the model that – driven by Jean Philippe Dayraut – has placed the Romanian carmaker on the podium of Pikes Peak, the most difficult coast race in the world, according to 0-100.hotnews.ro. The Dacia Duster No Limit was constructed during a five-month interval by the same team that also made the 350 HP Duster Ice model, which represented Dacia in the ice races counting for the Androd Trophy (France). “I drove various cars, Ferraris, Corvettes, but Duster No Limit is by far the most powerful,” Dayraut said in the town of Titu. In a different move, officials of Groupe Renault Romania said that Renault’s Technical Center of Titu is fully operational, after the completion of a 32 km long testing track and the construction of 100 testing blocks. The facility already employs a staff of 400 and will hire several dozens of new workers by the end of this year. Engineering and design departments included, Renault Technologie Roumanie (RTR) employs some 2,500 people in three facilities: Bucharest, Pitesti and Titu.
