August 23 to honour victims of fascism and communism, MPs decide

The Chamber of Deputies yesterday approved a project declaring August 23 the Day of Commemoration of Fascism and Communism Victims and December 21 the Day of Com­me­moration of Communism Vic­tims in Romania. The project was approved with 120 votes in favour, 94 against and eight abstentions, according to Mediafax. The proposal was already passed by the Senate.
