Bucharest jumps to 27th place in a top of best European towns for doing business

Bucharest jumped eight places, to the 27th position in a top of 36 best European towns for doing business – the most significant advance of all the markets subjected to the analysis, driven mainly by the evolution of the cost and availability of office spaces, according to a survey made by Cushman & Wakefield, Mediafax informs. Last year, Bucharest was one place above the bottom of the list, with declines of most criteria taken into consideration by the authors of the top. “The low cost, high quality and availability of office spaces are turning Bucharest into an increasingly attractive business destination for companies, Andrei Birsan, Head of Shopping Centres Retail Cushman & Wakefield Romania wrote in a press release. In term of market accessibility, Bucharest jumped 11 places, from 36 to 25, while based on the quality of transport connections with other towns in the country and abroad Bucharest ranks 29th, 7 positions higher than last year.
