Bucharest’s first amusement park opens

Terra Park, the first large amusement park in Romania, opened yesterday on Bucharest’s Timisoara Boulevard. According to capital.ro, the investment stands at EUR 25 M. 30 new thrill machines, the ‘Z Force Tower’ and the popular Rollercoaster being among the most spectacular, have been set up in the park that covers 30,000 square meters. At the same time, Terra Park has a parking lot with a capacity of 500 cars. More than 600,000 visitors are expected in the first year. In what concerns the prices, visitors have to buy a Terra Park card that can be used on rides, in the restaurant and the parking lot. The card is available for three admissions in the park for a year, provided it still has at least one value point on it. Each ride inside the park costs 4 Terra Park points. The card can be reloaded inside the park, each Terra Park point amounting to RON 1.
