Carpatica Invest and Swiss Capital file sole bid to mediate Tarom listing

The consortium made up of the brokerage firms Carpatica Invest and Swiss Capital, ex-KBC Securities Romania, filed the only bid to mediate the listing of a 20 pc- package of Tarom shares, sources from the capital market stated, quoted by Mediafax. Tarom’s listing at the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) comes in the context in which the airline is on the list of companies monitored by the IMF and in need of private management. The main reason for which the state failed to receive other offers from brokers is the fact the agent has to bear the costs and will recover them from the commission, paid only once the shares have been sold.
