Kilipirim book fair starts today in Bucharest

The Kilipirim book fair, known for the substantial discounts offered, starts today in Bucharest and will be running until Sunday. The autumn edition of Kilipirim takes place at the Dalles Gallery, a popular book-lovers’ haunt where, for the five days of the fair, more than 40 publishing houses will present over 10,000 titles. Kilipirim, already on its 13th edition, is also an ideal opportunity for those who want to expand their knowledge of foreign languages through reading, as participants in the fair include, alongside major Romanian publishing houses, some first-rank foreign publishers.

According to the organizers, quoted by Mediafax, the fair offers the best discounts in Bucharest. 2011 or earlier publications of Romanian and foreign publishers, collector’s editions, specialized volumes or European best-sellers, all these will be on offer, in a selection that covers all fields of interest: fiction, hobby, science, children’s books, arts, architecture and design.

For the time of Kilipirim, the upper floor of the Dalles Gallery is dedicated to an exhibition-cum-sale, where you can choose from approximately 100 Vaerst (Germany) and Lowell (Italy) trademark clocks.

Visiting hours: 10am to 8pm.
