Gov’t passes anti-missile shield bill

In yesterday’s session, Government passed the draft law ratifying the Romania-USA agreement on Romania’s participation in the anti-missile shield, with the bill to be put before Parliament with the request for passage by emergency voting by the end of this year, Mediafax reports. Foreign Minister Teodor Baconschi and US Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton on September 13, 2011, signed the Agreement on some elements of the anti-missile shield being installed in Romania.
