ANI: The leader of PNL District 4 cannot justify EUR 86,000

The National Integrity Agency (ANI) considers that the wealth of the leader of the District 4 organisation of PNL, Geani Marian Dinu exceeds by approximately EUR 86,000 the incomes achieved while he was a member of the district’s Local Council, and reported the case to the Court of Appeals. “Following evaluations that started on 17 November 2010, regarding the fact that Dinu and his family accumulated – while he was a member of the Local Council of District 4 Bucharest – a wealth that exceeds his incomes, a significant difference was noticed between the wealth acquired and the incomes made by the politician while he exerted the function of local council member,” reads an ANI press release quoted by Mediafax. In the context, the integrity inspectors reported the case to the Bucharest Court of Appeals (CAB), which must find out whether Dinu accumulated his wealth by legal means.
