Film and theatre merge at ShortsUP

Award-winning short-reel productions on the theme of infidelity and the tableaux which make up the play “What We Tell Each Other When We’re Not Speaking” (directed by Chris Simion) will engage in an original dialogue, in a non-conventional happening to take place on Sunday within the ShortsUP event series. Thus, the borders between film and theatre will be erased, as the organizers bring to the public’s attention some of the world’s finest shorts in a unique platform, which merges short-reel film and cinema’s kindred arts. Another highlight on Sunday’s programme is the play “Truth or Dare”, with a cast that includes Cristi Iacob, Ilinca Goia, Vitalie Bichir and Gabriela Iacob.

Venue: National Museum of Contemporary Art (Palace of Parliament), 7pm
