USD 3 M for the restoration of 40 social buildings

The minister of Development, Elena Udrea signed yesterday with the representatives of the United Nations’ Development Programme (UNDP) a project worth EUR 3 M meant to increase the energy performance of 40 social buildings in low-income communities, reads a press release. “Improving Energy Efficiency Low-Income Households and Communities in Romania” will be implemented by the Ministry of Regional Development and Tourism and by the United Nations Development Programme – UNDP (Romania), with support from the Ministry of Environment and Forest, the Association of Energy Auditors for Buildings, and the Romanian Council of Green Buildings.
