Ariton: Chinese investments in Romania to take place if they are profitable for both sides

Chinese Trade Minister Chen Deming told his Romanian counterpart Ion Ariton that “there are very high chances” that some Chinese companies will get involved in the Tarnita and Cernavoda projects, Mediafax informs. “We had concrete talks with Minister Chen Deming. My conclusion is that Chinese investments in Romania will grow significantly in the following period, the Chinese Government having an elevated interest in this sense, on condition the projects are feasible and profitable for both sides,” Ariton stated after his meeting with the Chinese Minister, a meeting that lasted over an hour.
