Charity concert to mark King’s birthday

The “Principesa Margareta a Romaniei” Foundation organizes the fourth edition of the “Young Talents” fund-raising concert, meant to mark King Mihai’s birthday. The concert offered by violinist Remus Azoitei and the Bucharest “George Enescu” Philharmonic Orchestra, under the baton of Christian Badea, will be broadcast exclusively on TVR Cultural. King Mihai is to turn 90 on October 25. On this occasion, the Parliament will organize a solemn session which the king was invited to attend. The events scheduled by the Romanian royal family to mark King Mihai’s “90 Jubilee” include official dinner parties with a list of guests ranging from prominent Romanian figures to representatives of the royal families in Europe and Asia, as well as a number of cultural events.
