Huidu accident caused by failure to adjust speed to road conditions

The accident caused by TV host Serban Huidu last Sunday, in which three people were killed, was caused by failure to adjust speed to road conditions, High Court prosecutors said, according to Mediafax. According to investigators, because of the speed, Huidu’s car skidded on the wet road and entered the other lane of traffic, crashing head-on into a Dacia Logan that was coming from the opposite direction. Prosecutors also said that a technical expertise of Huidu’s vehicle will be conducted the following days.

Huidu was heard by Brasov prosecutors on Friday and informed that he is being probed on charges of manslaughter. Huidu did not make any statements to reporters.
