Police agent stabbed while trying to settle a conflict

A police agent was stabbed on Saturday night going into Sunday after intervening to settle a conflict in a bar, together with another agent, according to Mediafax. The incident happened in Ceuasu de Campie, Mures County. “There were several assailants. They attacked one of the police agents and punched him and kicked him. One of the assailants stabbed him twice in the chest,” prosecutor Dan Oltean said. Three people were detained in the case and are facing charges of attempted murder. Oltean added that the police agent underwent surgery at the Targu Mures County Emergency Hospital and was in stable condition.
