Initiated four years ago as part of the “George Enescu” Philharmonic programme, the “Tuesday Night series” set out not only to present and promote young artists already launched in the international circuit, but also, implicitly, to breath new life in the chamber music genre. Tonight, the guests of the “Tuesday Night series” are the members of the Karma trio. Karma was set up in the autumn of 2010 by young students enrolled in the Basel Music Academy’s Solisten Diplom: Sebastian Mihai Tegzesiu (Romania), Mi Zhou (China) and Valentin Valentiyev (Ukraine). The highlights of the programme: “Trio on Irish themes”, by Frank Martin, and “Trio”, by Piotr Ilych Tchaikovsky.
