Geoana, heard as witness by DNA

The Speaker of the Senate Mircea Geoana was present yesterday at the National Anti-Corruption Directorate (DNA) office, where he argued he had been heard as a witness, Mediafax informs. Geoana refused to provide any details concerning the case in relation to which he was heard, denying, however, that his presence at DNA had anything to do with the case of the senator Catalin Voicu or that of his brother-in-law. He merely stated that the questions the prosecutors had asked were fairly simple, so that he was able to answer them within the space of five minutes.
