Italian authorities rescued 10 Romanian young orphans who had been brought to Italy to steal from Milan shops, the online edition of Corriere della Sera reports, quoted by Mediafax. According to Italian authorities, the children had been taken from Romanian orphanages and lured to Italy with the promise of a better future, but instead they were turned into slaves by criminals that forced them to steal from supermarkets. The same operation also led to the identification of 23 adults exploited by the criminal gangs.
