Senators boycott meeting with PM Boc

The Senate on Monday invited Premier Emil Boc to meet the Permanent Bureau of the Upper House yesterday. As no answer was received, the Bureau canceled its meeting, but the prime minister still came to the Senate, waited for a few minutes, then left. According to Mediafax, PM Boc’s presence in the Senate was announced to journalists about 10 minutes before his arrival. The meeting with the Permanent Bureau should have been dedicated to the evolutions of the Romanian economy. Senate sources say that Boc then went to the PDL group, but he found nobody there either.
