Sergeant Nicula was taken to the military hospital in Kandahar where he was given medical care and will be evacuated to the military hospital in Landstuhl (Germany) for ophthalmologic treatment,” the MoD’s communiqué reads. The Ministry also points out that Defence Minister Gabriel Oprea and the Army’s leadership is carefully following the evolution of Sergeant Nicula’s health.
