Dutch PM’s visit to Romania, cancelled

Dutch prime-minister Mark Rutte’s visit to Romania, scheduled for yesterday, was cancelled and is to be rescheduled at a later date, the Dutch Cabinet head’s Press Bureau informed. The visit was cancelled at The Netherlands’ request. Bucharest was to be the second stage in a two days’ visit – October 31 to November 1 – the Dutch premier was to undertake in Bulgaria and Romania. The Bulgarian press reported on Monday that Sofia had cancelled at the last minute PM Mark Rutte’s scheduled visit to the Bulgarian capital, given the packed agenda of the Bulgarian Cabinet, currently debating next year’s budget.
