According to the aggregate indicators published by the National Bank of Romania (BNR) on Thursday, the Romanian banking system has returned in the red in Q3. Thus, the return on assets (ROA) stood at -0.31 per cent at the end of September, while the return on equity (ROE) stood at -3.37 per cent. According to Association of Romanian Banks (ARB) President Radu Gratian Ghetea, the reason has to do with uncertainties on external and internal markets, hotnews.ro informs.
