Elisabeth Leonskaja to concert this Nov at the Athenaeum

The celebrated pianist Elisabeth Leonskaja will be back in Bucharest for a concert on the stage of the Romanian Athenaeum on November 27, starting 7pm. The concert the Georgian artist will offer has a charitable object, the saving of a part of Bucharest, the place where the two Minovici Museums have stood for 106 and, respectively, 70 years. Leonskaja visited the museums last December and, deeply moved by the Minovicis’ cultural and social heritage, will offer the Bucharest concert pro bono. Elisabeth Leonskaja will delight us with Franz Schubert’s last three piano sonatas –“Sonata no. 19 in C minor D958”, “Sonata no. 20 in A major D959” and “Sonata no. 21 in B flat major D960”. Tickets are on sale via the Eventim network at the Palace Hall, in Germanos, Orange, Vodafone and Domo shops, Humanitas and Carturesti bookshops, and online on www.eventim.ro.
