The Senate law commission Tuesday unanimously gave their go-ahead to a bill stipulating that private parties exceeding the noise levels accepted after 10.00 pm can only take place with the written agreement of neighbours. The bill originators propose that local authorities in tourist resorts are allowed to establish the opening hours for public houses and the running hours of musical programmes function of local standards, after consultations with local residents, tourism operators and environmental protection agencies.
